在新西兰做结构设计难吗？
楼上的各位都只讲到结构设计本身，那我来讲讲在 新西兰 做结构设计难在哪里吧~ 结构专业在新西兰属于土木工程专业（Civil Engineering）的一部分。
首先，我们得知道什么是土木工程专业。 英国是第一个制定本科阶段土木工程定义的国家，1970年提出： The field of Civil Engineering covers the whole range of man-made structures and the artificially created environments in which we live， work and travel. The work is challenging and stimulating and requires a high level of skill to make effective use of design knowledge in order for buildings and other engineering structures to function safely， adequately and economically on a broad range of sites and under all manner of climatic conditions． 简而言之，土木工程就是设计建造各类建筑及其附属设施的科学和技术。那结构工程是什么呢？ 可以看一下新西兰的教科书如何定义结构工程（Structural Engineering）的—— The discipline of structural engineering is concerned with the design， analysis， fabrication， erection and maintenance of building structures that support or carry loads， such as buildings， bridges， towers， ships， offshore structures， earthworks and nuclear facilities. Note that this definition excludes mechanical equipment including lifts， cranes etc. but includes the foundations of structures as well as the structures themselves. 可以看到，结构工程和土木工程的定义其实很相近，但结构工程更关注于建设负载支撑或承载结构的建造与设计——比如房屋建筑、桥梁、塔状建筑物、船舶、海上结构、土壤工程等。同时，它还包括了结构所应用的材料（混凝土、钢材、木材等等）以及结构分析中用到的各种数值方法。 所以题主所说的“土建成本”应该指的是建筑的结构设计和施工费用吧～ 而施工费用里又包含了多种因素：场地条件、施工工艺、工期要求等等，当然还有非常重要的一点—— 人工费！ 在我国，尤其是一些中小城市，建筑行业的劳动力成本往往被低估了；而新西兰则是完全按人工计时收费的——即使你在节假日加班或者夜间施工，薪资水平也不会因此降低。
以土木工程师周薪$1500计算，一栋楼60层的高楼，从概念方案到报审报建再到施工设计完成，一位土木工程师的工作时间大约350个小时，即工资约为$525，000——而这还不包括其他专业的工程师的费用。 如果是两位土木工程师的话，这栋高楼的结构设计费用差不多就接近$1百万了…… 在人工费用高昂的新西兰做结构设计，除了尽量采用通用设计提高重复利用率以外，充分利用当地规范中的优惠条款和取费标准也是个不错的省钱办法哦~~
